Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years of responsible office support with extensive public contact.
• Preferred: experience determining eligibility for loans, financial assistance, or health/services programs.
• Typing speed and accuracy expectations may apply (as typical for clerical roles).

Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility for designated and specialized client service programs and benefits.
• Interview clients and gather facts to support claims and eligibility.
• Process case work through automated systems and authorize benefits.
• Provide information, referrals and advocacy for health, human, or employment services.
• Follow up on claims and assist with preparation of supporting documents.
