Job summary

The Family Place in Dallas, TX is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to deliver comprehensive case management and crisis intervention for adult and child survivors of domestic violence experiencing homelessness.

You will coordinate housing, employment, legal and medical referrals, lead weekly meetings, conduct intake and safety planning, and provide trauma-informed support to help families move toward stability.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field with at least two years experience in crisis intervention and/or domestic violence.
• Or a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field with at least four years of crisis intervention/domestic violence experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management across housing, employment, legal, and medical referrals.
• Coordinate twice monthly family case management meetings and weekly meetings with the head of household.
• Complete intake/orientation and conduct safety planning with clients.
• Observe and document weekly child observations within the family unit.
• Facilitate weekly process groups using diverse therapeutic approaches.
• Respond to emergencies with de-escalation and conflict resolution.
• Assist clients in obtaining community services and establish referral relationships.
• Provide court advocacy and testimony as needed.
• Train and supervise volunteers and interns; represent the agency in community activities.
• Participate in weekly case staffing and maintain flexible scheduling.
