Job summary

CSL Plasma in Nogales, AZ seeks a Customer Service - Donor Support Technician (Bilingual English/Spanish) to prepare the donor area and equipment for the pheresis process and to support donors throughout the procedure. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least three months of relevant experience; bilingual ability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience, preferably in medical/health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and pheresis process; responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains alertness to donor reactions and notifies staff as needed.
• Uses PDA to record incidents, machine alerts, volume variances and donor events.
• Links equipment and supplies to the appropriate donor in the PDA.
• Alerts supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensures accurate recording of donor data in the donor information system per SOPs.
• Understands policies for hyper immune programs if applicable.
• Maintains a clean, efficient work environment and supplies; follows HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintains confidentiality of all donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required at the organization’s discretion.
• Performs job-related duties as assigned.
