Job summary

CSL in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Pheresis Donor Processor Support role. You will prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process, monitor the donor and the process, and disconnect the donor when complete.

You will maintain alertness to donor reactions, record incidents using the PDA, ensure equipment is linked to the donor, and escalate donor flow issues. A high school diploma and 3 months’ health‑care experience are required, with basic math skills and a safety‑minded approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to any donor reactions and notify appropriate staff.
• Use PDA to record incidents during the pheresis process, such as machine alerts and donor events.
• Use PDA to link equipment and soft goods used to the donor.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate donor data is recorded in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Understand policies for hyper immune programs at the center if applicable.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are available; follow HSE and OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required, at organization’s discretion.
• Perform job-related duties as assigned.
