Job summary

CSL Plasma Gastonia, NC is seeking a Customer Service - Donor Support Technician (Bilingual English/Spanish). This full-time role prepares the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process and monitors the donor during the procedure.

The position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of three months' work experience in a healthcare environment; bilingual ability may be needed to meet business needs, with strict adherence to SOPs and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience in medical or health provider environment preferred.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and equipment data using the PDA.
• Link equipment and supplies to the donor in the information system.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow SOPs.
