We are actively seeking a Dental Assistant to join our growing team! As a Dental Assistant (DA), you are an essential part of the care team, supporting the office and assisting professional dental staff with treatments. Responsibilities
  • Provide quality, compassionate care to every patient.
  • Guide parents of minors and patients through procedures before treatment.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
  • Take x-rays and save images to patient charts (location-dependent).
  • Ensure the operational readiness of the hygiene bay and treatment rooms.
  • Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
  • Mix amalgam, cement, pulp paste, and prepare impression materials.
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, chairs, and rooms.
  • Assist dental staff during treatments, including:
    • Document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures.
    • Assist with suctioning, retractors, and sutures during surgeries.
    • Pour, trim, and polish impression casts.
    • Fabricate custom impression trays.
  • Adhere to all regulations, standards, and compliance programs with integrity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • X-ray certification preferred, based on state and practice.
  • Dental assistant certification preferred, based on state and practice.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus (location-dependent).
  • Commitment to high integrity and compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
