Job summary

Buckland is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as a liaison between the company and clients, handling import/export clearance and order coordination. The role requires strong English/Spanish communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will support onboarding of new customers, manage inquiries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate information and timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in custom brokerage or logistics
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Intermediate MS Office knowledge
• Mexican Legislation in Foreign Trade Business knowledge
• Must be bilingual in Spanish/English

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers by assisting them with import/export clearance of goods through the applicable border and following up on inquiries pertaining to shipment status.
• Assist with onboarding and administration of new customers, including account setup in company system, inquiries, and providing solutions.
• Liaison between intercompany departments regarding potential client setup and inquiries.
• Review and prepare orders according to customer requirements and monitor fulfillment until completion.
• Identify opportunity areas to meet customer demands.
• Maintain a well-organized calendar to balance meetings, tasks, and initiatives.
