Job summary

CRC in Abilene, TX is seeking Customer Service Representatives to provide courteous, efficient service for our members in a 24/7 call center handling power outages and bill pay. You will be the calm, professional human voice callers rely on during emergencies.

Qualifications

• 1 or more years of Customer Service experience required.
• Experience in a Call Center setting preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming calls from electric cooperative members and address inquiries using CRC Link and other call center tools.
• Maintain a high level of service and meet performance targets.
• Remain calm and professional during difficult calls and use de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Participate in classroom and on-the-job training and review manuals to increase product knowledge.
