Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is hiring a Customer Service Specialist to support customers at multiple locations in New York. You will assist wholesale and retail clients, determine their needs, and recommend suitable Sherwin-Williams products and services to maximize satisfaction and sales.

You will process transactions, stock shelves, tint and mix products as needed, and help ensure accurate records while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to walk-in and phone customers.
• Determine customer needs and present appropriate products and services.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; maintain in-stock conditions.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications as needed.
• Assist in deliveries and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory control procedures.
• Remain knowledgeable on offered products and discuss available options.
