Job summary

American Food Service is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Philadelphia team. You will communicate with customers to identify needs, process requests, escalate complaints, and provide helpful solutions to ensure a great service experience.

The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and able to stay calm under pressure while delivering accurate information and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a CSR or similar role preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and customer management software (CRM).
• Excellent phone and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of active listening techniques.
• Money handling experience.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Interact with on site customers to facilitate sales.
• Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information, and provide solutions.
• Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers.
• Document all customer interactions.
• Meet personal and team quotas.
• Attend trainings to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge.
