Job summary

Lukos seeks a Custody and Resource Coordinator to support ERO Field Office and detention facility staff in maintaining a safe detention environment. The role focuses on trauma-informed support for detainees, victims, and vulnerable populations, including language interpretation.

Position is based at ICE facilities in Raymondville, TX, requiring strong coordination with multiple agencies and in-depth knowledge of detention standards and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Psychology, or equivalent required.
• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist detained noncitizens with needs, requests, and complaints during intake and ongoing processes.
• Assist ERO and detention facility staff with requests related to parent/child communication and child welfare involvement.
• Coordinate disability accommodations and follow-up with detention facilities as requested by ERO HQ.
• Support compliance with agency policies and detention standards, communicating with detained individuals on sensitive topics.
• Provide information and referrals to noncitizens for medical, mental health, chaplain, and other services.
• Conduct wellness checks and follow-ups for vulnerable detainees and ensure safety.
