Job summary

The Custody and Removal Coordinator at Lukos provides pivotal support to ERO Field Offices and detention facilities, ensuring a safe detention environment and responsive care for detained noncitizens. The role covers trauma-informed support, victim services, and coordination of resources across units.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s in social work or psychology, fluency in English and Spanish, and at least two years in related settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Psychology, or equivalent.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.
• Two+ years in victim services, trauma-informed programs, or detainee settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with detainee needs, requests, and non-immigration issues.
• Support parent/child communication and child welfare involvement.
• Coordinate disability accommodations with detention facilities.
• Facilitate discussions on policy compliance and detainee care.
• Address questions about services and referrals for care.

Skills

Fluent English & Spanish
