Job summary

TAG MedStaffing is seeking a Crisis Hotline Counselor (Bilingual) in Miami, FL to support behavioral health crisis response. The role is hybrid with evening shifts and requires bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Creole.

You will provide crisis counseling, suicide intervention, and resource referrals while documenting calls in case management systems. A Bachelor’s degree and 1–2+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field.
• 1–2+ years of crisis counseling, hotline, or social services experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish or Creole.
• Proficiency with case management systems and MS Office.
• Strong active listening and calm communication in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis counseling and suicide intervention via hotline services.
• Refer callers to behavioral health services and community resources.
• Follow established crisis response protocols and escalation procedures.
• Document call details and case notes in case management systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
