About the Opportunity

Bishop & Company is recruiting for a remote Contact Center Representative to support a large-scale claims administration project related to the Maui wildfires. Schedule: Full-time for approximately the first 2-3 months. May transition to part-time based on project needs. Business hours expected to be approximately 8:30 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM HST.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for claimants, law firms, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and chat
• Enter and update claimant information within a secure client portal
• Follow established scripts, procedures, and workflows
• Assist claimants with account updates, documentation requirements, payment selections, and general claim-related questions
• Monitor and respond to emails and voicemails
• Document all interactions accurately and thoroughly
• Perform data entry, record review and information verification
• Escalate complex or sensitive issues according to established procedures
• Meet established productivity, quality and accuracy standards
• Learn and navigate proprietary systems and applications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience preferred
• Contact center, call center, legal services, insurance, or claims-related experience is a plus
• Bilingual fluency in Hawaiian and English required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Comfortable learning new software and troubleshooting basic technical issues
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and general computer applications
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Professional, compassionate and customer-focused approach
