This role delivers exceptional service, resolves inquiries, provides program information, and ensures a positive customer experience while maintaining accuracy and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of customer service, sales, call center, or customer-facing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound and outbound inquiries via phone, email, chat, text, and in-person interactions.
• Assist members with questions related to benefits, claims, services, eligibility, and enrollment.
• Address customer concerns, complaints, and discrepancies professionally and efficiently.
• Navigate multiple service queues and communication channels while meeting quality and productivity standards.
• Maintain accurate records by updating member and provider information in company databases.
• Process routine administrative tasks, including correspondence, mailings, copying, and faxing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Location: Islands of either Maui or Kauai.

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm one hour lunch

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

• Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or post-secondary education in healthcare, insurance, customer service, or a related field.
• Previous call center and/or healthcare administration experience.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills, especially Chuukese, Marshallese, Korean, Ilocano, or Tagalog.
• Demonstrated success in meeting performance, productivity, and quality standards.
