Job summary

Rio Grande Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Lending Support Specialist in Albuquerque, NM to fund loan requests and maintain proper loan documentation. You will collaborate with dealer offices and loan officers to ensure accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and efficient consumer lending operations.

The role emphasizes strong member service, teamwork, and knowledge of loan products, while supporting both direct and indirect lending channels to drive loan growth.

Qualifications

• Experience handling consumer loan documents and funding processes.
• Knowledge of lending policies, BSA and related compliance is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with dealer finance offices and branch staff.

Responsibilities

• Support indirect lending with a high-service approach to drive loan growth and maintain relationships with dealerships.
• Support direct lending by assisting with processing of loan applications and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of products (consumer loan applications, title work, MMP and GAP policies) and assist as a point of contact across branches.
• Ensure timely verification and documentation, respond to member requests accurately and promptly.
• Participate in quality control, monitor accounts, and assist in debt-related processes as needed.
• Follow CIP, retention schedules, and maintain security procedures per policy.
