Job summary

Project Access seeks a Resident Services Coordinator to design and implement programs that elevate community life for residents in Tucson, AZ. You will act as a bridge between residents and services, driving long-term outcomes through autonomous initiative and a deep understanding of the local community.

The role involves coordinating after-school and teen programs, leading workshops, building partnerships with local providers, and supporting food distribution.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Four years of experience in multi-family housing or related fields such as social services or community outreach; or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
  • Minimum of one year experience in both: after-school programs or educational settings for youth; serving diverse populations with cultural competency.

Responsibilities

  • Implement core programs and services across four pillars: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.
  • Conduct outreach and survey resident needs.
  • Coordinate and oversee an after-school program and teen program with homework assistance and enrichment activities.
  • Plan and facilitate resident-facing workshops and group sessions, maintaining consistency when partners are unavailable.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers to deliver services and workshops.
  • Plan and facilitate community-building events to foster safe, meaningful relationships.
  • Provide information and referrals to access resources and connect residents with nonprofit partners.
  • Support food distribution needs, including maintaining food bank partnerships.
  • Maintain strong relationships with property management and schedule regular communications.
  • Organize monthly outreach including door-to-door and digital efforts.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and interns.
  • Use personal vehicle for supplies and attend offsite meetings (mileage reimbursed).
  • Publish monthly newsletters and calendar of events.
  • Collect outcomes data with emphasis on social impact within four pillars.
  • Provide input on budgets for resident service programs.
