Gastromed, Llc is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to attract and enroll eligible participants for clinical trials while ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish capabilities and experience in patient recruitment and clinical research.

The candidate will coordinate with investigators, nurses, and data managers, manage databases, and implement recruitment strategies across digital and community channels to support timely enrollment.

Qualifications

• 2 years working as a recruitment specialist/coordinator or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• Understanding of the clinical trial process, regulations, and ethics.
• Strong communication skills to explain trial information clearly.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with potential participants.
• Good organizational skills for tracking participants and scheduling.
• Familiarity with recruitment strategies (digital marketing, outreach, referrals).
• Knowledge of ethical guidelines/regulations for clinical trials.
• Data management skills and data privacy awareness.
• Ability to work with investigators, nurses, and data managers.
• Appreciation for diverse participant populations and cultural sensitivity.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
• Familiarity with marketing tools for recruitment materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to identify eligible participants for trials.
• Engage with healthcare providers and communities to raise trial awareness.
• Pre-screen potential participants via questionnaires and interviews.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and milestones in CTMS.
• Support participant retention through clear, ongoing communication.
• Create and distribute recruitment materials with the marketing team.
• Ensure compliance with GCP and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with investigators and study teams to align timelines.
• Build relationships with clinics, hospitals, and advocacy groups.
