Qualifications

• 2 years working as a recruitment specialist/coordinator or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• Solid understanding of the clinical trial process, phases, regulations, and ethics.
• Strong communication to explain trial details and risks to participants.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with potential participants.
• Excellent organizational skills for records and scheduling.
• Familiarity with recruitment strategies (digital marketing, outreach, physician referrals).
• Knowledge of ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements for trials.
• Data management and confidentiality of participant information.
• Team collaboration with investigators, nurses, and data managers.
• Awareness of cultural diversity to improve recruitment.
• Problem-solving to address enrollment challenges.
• Time management to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with software/tools for participant databases and outreach.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit eligible participants for clinical trials based on protocol criteria.
• Engage with healthcare providers, communities, and potential participants to raise trial awareness.
• Pre-screen potential participants via questionnaires and interviews.
• Maintain recruitment records and CTMS data; track milestones.
• Support participant retention through clear communication and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with marketing to create recruitment materials (flyers, social posts, emails).
• Ensure regulatory compliance with the study protocol, GCP, and guidelines.
• Liaise with investigators and study teams to align recruitment with timelines.
• Build relationships with clinics, hospitals, and advocacy groups.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
