Job summary

Legacy Community Health in Houston, TX seeks a bilingual Clinical Scheduling Assistant to support timely, coordinated care by monitoring provider schedules and following scheduling guidelines within our EHRS.

You will collaborate with front desk, clinical teams, and Contact Center staff to optimize real-time clinic flow, handle day-to-day scheduling, and communicate effectively with patients, including Spanish-speaking patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant-Certified or EHRS training preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor provider schedules and optimize real-time clinic flow in EHRS.
• Coordinate day-to-day scheduling following Legacy guidelines.
• Communicate with Front Desk, clinical teams, and Contact Center staff.
• Assist patients with scheduling, portal messages, and reminders.
• Support expedited scheduling for urgent/sick visits as directed.
