Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in the program specialty or equivalent education/experience.
• Fluently speak, read, and write in English and Spanish.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with accuracy.
• Knowledge of Title 51 policies and claims administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Correspond in English and Spanish with internal and external customers via phone.
• Respond to inquiries by reviewing claim file information.
• Issue payments for the first three days of time loss as directed.
• Review and process mail items and update claim files.
• Perform file reviews to bookmark key information for efficiency.
• Maintain records of activities and document actions via emails and system notifications.
• Process secured messages and suspended bills and ensure confidentiality.
• Respond to claim file requests and ensure privacy rules are followed.
• Compile reports and presentations.
• Provide backup for other claim processors within the service area.
