National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking a dedicated Case Manager for La Jornada to complete assessments and service plans, ensuring uploads to the UC Portal and compliance with ORR and NYAP CQI. The role requires organized, flexible scheduling and on-call availability.

Responsibilities include intake interviews, sponsor vetting, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and leading reunification efforts, with emphasis on documentation and timely case updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a social service field.
• One year of experience with children/adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work in line with NYAP mission and values.
• Complete case management assessments within ORR timeframes.
• Conduct intake interviews with youth and gather sponsor information.
• Vet sponsors/family members for suitability.
• Serve as UC case point of contact for site staff.
• Lead pre-staffing with multidisciplinary team.
• Attend staffing with ORR stakeholders as needed.
• Coordinate with local attorneys for Know Your Rights presentations.
• Identify best practices with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ensure safe environment and proper vetting of sponsors.
