Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program in Madison, WI is seeking an entry-level Case Aide for La Jornada to provide administrative support to program staff and assist with ORR case management duties.

The role requires a High School diploma (4-year degree preferred) and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. The position involves a flexible schedule, documentation duties, and travel as needed within the program scope.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; 4-year degree preferred.
• Understand ORR Policies and Procedures.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish); fluency required.
• Minimum auto insurance of $100,000/300,000; valid license; reliable vehicle.
• 21+ years old with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work consistent with NYAP’s mission, values, and philosophies.
• Support ORR’s 7 Day Case Management policy requirements with the program team.
• Maintain records data per ORR’s/NYAP’s records management policies.
• Complete records requests from ORR.
• Complete VOR changes and support case management needs.
• Upload documentation to ORR’s UC Portal and NYAP’s Evolv system.
• Support unification and reunification efforts, including background checks and case management activities.
• Assist with intake and discharge packages.
• Coordinate travel for children and staff.
• Prioritize work and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Provide confidential, independent case aide support as needed.
