Job summary

The National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Fairfax, VA seeks a Case Aide for La Jornada to provide administrative and document support to program staff. The role requires maintaining a flexible, organized schedule and may include extended hours and weekends.

Responsibilities include supporting ORR 7 Day Case Management policy, maintaining records, handling intake and discharge packages, coordinating legal screenings, and assisting with travel for children and staff.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish; fluency in Spanish required.
• Understand ORR Policies and Procedures.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Automobile insurance of $100,000/$300,000 bodily-liability coverage.
• 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and document support to program staff.
• Support ORR’s 7 Day Case Management policy requirements.
• Maintain records data per ORR/NYAP policies.
• Process records requests and VOR changes.
• Upload documentation to UC Portal and Evolv system.
• Assist with intake/discharge packages and case file maintenance.
• Coordinate travel for children and staff and support licensing and legal screenings.
