COMPTROLLER OF MARYLAND in Annapolis, MD seeks a Bilingual Call Center Supervisor-Revenue Specialist II to oversee bilingual (English/Spanish) call center staff in the Taxpayer Services Division. The role supports taxpayers via telephone, email, and mail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

The position requires four years in revenue-related work and fluent bilingual skills. Telework is eligible after probation, with full-time hours 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday, in a hybrid Annapolis

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent, with bookkeeping/accounting background.
• Experience: 4 years in tax assessments, collections, investigations, examinations, or taxpayer services in revenue administration or related fields.
• Selective qualifications require fluency in Spanish and English with demonstration in interviews.

Responsibilities

• Supervise bilingual call center representatives in the Bilingual Call Center (BCC) within Taxpayer Services.
• Ensure provision of full range of taxpayer services via telephone, mail, e-fax, or email.
• Manage personnel issues and supervise Revenue Specialists & Revenue Examiners.
