Job summary

Care Alliance Health Center in Cleveland is seeking a Bilingual Call Center Representative to join our team. You will be the first contact for patients by phone, handling scheduling, insurance verification, and general inquiries in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Minimum of one year of customer service or call center experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls promptly.
• Schedule, confirm and reschedule patient appointments.
• Track and follow up on no-shows, cancellations, and appointment changes.
• Update and verify patient demographic and insurance information in the electronic health record.
• Open telephone encounters, refill requests, and route messages to appropriate staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions.
