Job summary

PPSE Health Services is seeking a Bi-Lingual Patient Access Associate (English and Spanish) to provide professional, empathetic first-line service in the Patient Access Center. You will schedule appointments in English and Spanish, guide patients with pre-appointment instructions, and screen for financial assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college or other post-secondary education preferred.
• 2+ years of healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments in English and Spanish per protocol for all PPSE health services.
• Provide pre-appointment instructions and direct patients to download forms from the PPSE website.
• Ensure appointments align with clinic and provider availability.
• Educate patients about services and options for care.
• Screen callers for eligibility to receive abortion services per state and federal laws; provide GA-specific 24-hour and parental notice information.
• Arrange interpreter accommodations and accessible exam accommodations as needed.
• Assess need for financial assistance and help patients access it if eligible.
• Handle patient information within department policies and relevant laws.
