Job summary

Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU) is seeking a full-time Branch Member Service Representative in Gonzales, TX. The role blends teller and personal banking duties to serve members and prospective members with a focus on financial well-being and risk-aware service.

You will support a branch culture that prioritizes customer service, sales, and professional growth through RBFCU’s Path to Promotion and Learning and Development program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six months of work experience in financial institutions, customer service or sales preferred.
• Attendance and promptness and ability to work a flexible Monday through Saturday schedule.
• Must be able to cover staffing at any location within the region as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with PC, software and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide enthusiastic, professional service to members and prospective members.
• Process a variety of transactions in person, video, drive-thru, and telephonic channels.
• Maintain control of cash and negotiable instruments per policies and regulatory laws.
• Assess member needs and recommend RBFCU products and services.
• Support branch sales culture and adhere to standards.
• Handle calls for the Member Service Center as needed.
• Assess deposits for fraud and impersonation risks.
• Assist with opening, updating, and closing accounts and know RBFCU Membership and Account Agreement.
• Prepare teller reports and escort members as requested.
• Observe safety and security procedures.
