The role blends teller and personal banker duties, delivering friendly service to members and potential members while solving problems and recommending RBFCU products to improve financial wellbeing.

The position requires strong communication, the ability to work a Monday through Saturday schedule, and the option to earn a bilingual Spanish/English certification bonus of $2 per

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Six months of work experience (financial institution, customer service or sales experience preferred)
• Flexible Monday through Saturday schedule
• Ability to cover staffing at any location within the region if needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in utilizing PC, software and other office equipment
• Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Provide enthusiastic, professional, quality, prompt, and courteous service to members and prospective members
• Process a variety of transactions in person, video conference, drive-thru, and telephonic channels
• Maintain control of cash and negotiable instruments per policies and regulations
• Engage with members through consultative, needs-based conversations to identify financial needs and recommend products
• Support RBFCU sales culture and ensure branch standards are met
• Assess deposits for fraud and impersonation to mitigate losses
• Qualify members and assist with opening, updating, and closing accounts
• Prepare teller reports and escort members as requested
• Observe safety and security procedures
