Job summary

Capstone Roofing in Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations on-site. This role handles AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping while providing light administrative support.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in bookkeeping, experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and Bill.com, and is fluent in English and Spanish. Construction industry experience is a plus; timesheet management is part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience.
• Construction or home-services industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Bill.com.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounts payable cycle, entering vendor invoices, verifying accuracy, and scheduling payments.
• Oversee accounts receivable including invoicing, applying payments, and follow-up on balances.
• Prepare and post journal entries for recurring transactions.
• Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records within the accounting system and support month-end close.
• Provide administrative support and handle front-office tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure correct billing and job cost tracking.
