Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. You will assume shift management in the absence of managers and coach team members to deliver strong service.

Strong communication is essential; bilingual candidates are encouraged. Experience in retail auto parts and ASE knowledge are a plus, and RSS certification may be pursued.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store and transfers promptly; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and issue refunds with correct methods.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Monitor work schedules, clock-in/out per policy, and security procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
