Job summary

Veros Credit, LLC is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist to manage auto loan accounts delinquent by 30–60 days. You will document collection activities using loan servicing software and strive to protect the customer’s vehicle while ensuring timely payments.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in collections, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to interpret FDCPA and related regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of collections experience, preferably in subprime consumer lending.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply FDCPA and other regulations.
• Ability to interact with customers in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and to work overtime.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers, including offering suggestions as to how they can meet their obligations, propose alternative payment methods, and establish payment procedures.
• Assist borrowers in devising a strategy to allow them to keep their vehicle while meeting the obligations of the loan.
• Accurately and professionally document account information and collection activities.
• Utilize skip tracing tools and reference sources to identify and locate delinquent borrowers.
• Other duties as assigned.
