Job summary

Bryn Mawr College is seeking a motivated individual to support the Association of Mexican Business Owners in Philadelphia as an Association Manager. This full-time role involves developing relationships with local businesses and assisting them to navigate city services and funding opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English, dedicated to community engagement, and possess strong organizational skills. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $30/hour, with flexible work hours and some responsibilities on evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bilingual and bicultural with proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Experience working with Latinx immigrant communities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with AEM member businesses.
• Conduct assessments for businesses to identify challenges.
• Develop action plans based on assessments for businesses.
• Manage relationships with city agencies and coordinate programs.

Skills

Bilingual and bicultural (Spanish/English)

Event planning and execution
