Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role requires leading team members to deliver excellent service and to manage store coverage during absences or opposing shifts.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with a focus on developing staff, ensuring policy-compliant operations, and maintaining inventory accuracy across all store functions.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Work with the store manager to staff the sales counter during peak hours (lunch, late afternoon, evenings, weekends).
• Assist the store manager in setting team goals, giving feedback, coaching and training.
• Assist in recruiting tasks: interviews, candidate evaluation, and collaboration with management.
