Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the team during shifts and when the manager is absent, ensuring outstanding service to both retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
• Supervise service levels at the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs
• Assist in staffing, scheduling, and ensuring peak-hour coverage
• Support hiring processes with interviewing and candidate evaluation
• Ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders
• Oversee returns, exchanges, and accurate refunds; manage invoicing of merchandise
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules and proper clocking in/out
• Perform store opening/closing duties and secure money/deposits
