Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Arkansas to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service.
• Manage store operations during the Store Manager's absence or opposing shifts.
• Ensure adequate staffing during peak hours and assist in hiring/ interviews.
• Coach and mentor team members and oversee training progress.
• Ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store, transfers, and outside purchases.
• Oversee returns, exchanges, refunds, and proper cash handling.
• Perform opening/closing duties, money handling, and security checks.
• Coordinate merchandising tasks and adherence to company policies.
