Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, appearance, and operations. You will lead the store team in servicing customers and manage the store in the Manager's absence.

The role emphasizes staffing, coaching, hiring support, and ensuring accurate processing of transfers, returns, and invoicing while upholding company policies. Bilingual abilities are encouraged and growth opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Supervise service levels on the showroom and programs.
• Ensure proper staffing at the sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring, interviewing, and coaching team members.
• Ensure returns, exchanges, and invoicing are processed efficiently.
• Open/close duties including deposits and security as needed.
• Coordinate with store manager on training and goal setting.
