O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the store team during shifts and in the manager's absence, ensuring outstanding service for retail and professional customers.

The ideal candidate will have Sales Specialist Training and management certifications, with bilingual abilities encouraged to apply; you will hire, coach and guide team members, manage staffing during peak

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure staff execute programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours (lunch, late afternoons, evenings, weekends).
• Assist the store manager in setting team goals, providing feedback, coaching/mentoring, and ensuring training is up to date.
• Assist in the hiring process by recruiting, scheduling, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure all communications and operational tasks (phone, orders, transfers, returns) are processed timely and accurately.
