Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the store team and cover shifts in the Manager's absence.

You'll collaborate with management on hiring, training, and coaching, ensure staffing during peak hours, and uphold store policies while delivering outstanding service to retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Sales experience and leadership in retail settings.
• Certifications in parts and service (Certified Parts Professional, ASE).
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise showroom customer service programs.
• Staff retail counter during peak hours.
• Coach and mentor team members; assist in hiring.
• Handle buy online/ship to store and transfers.
• Ensure returns processed; manage invoicing of merchandise.
• Perform opening/closing duties and security procedures.
• Maintain store building, signage, and equipment.
• Communicate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks.
• Adhere to company policies and scheduling.
• All other duties as assigned.
