O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead the team in delivering outstanding customer service and executing store operations. The role supports the Store Manager in staffing, coaching, and ensuring sales targets are met while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Oversee customer service levels at the showroom and supervise programs like Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot.
• Assist in staffing the sales counter during peak hours and manage shift coverage.
• Engage in hiring by planning interviews, evaluating candidates, and coordinating with management to select qualified team members.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy and orders (buy online/ship to store, hub transfers) processed promptly.
• Coordinate outside purchases and special orders; inform customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and manage returns/exchanges efficiently.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Enforce company policies on scheduling, clock-ins/outs, and security procedures during opening/closing tasks.
• Support the store manager in maintaining the building, parking lot, and delivery vehicles.
