O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, appearance, and operations. You will run the store during absences or opposing shifts and lead the team in serving customers.

Qualifications

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Ability to supervise showroom service levels and execute customer service programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom.
• Ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Coach and mentor team members and manage training progress.
• Participate in interviewing and hiring processes.
• Answer telephones per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store and transfers promptly.
• Manage outside orders and special purchases.
• Handle returns and exchanges efficiently.
• Invoice merchandise before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure schedule adherence and proper clocking in/out.
• Perform opening/closing duties and money handling per policy.
• Maintain store building, lot, signage, and equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.
