Hazel Management, in North Houston (77014), seeks an Assistant Property Manager for Cranbrook Forest, a 261-unit community. You’ll be the Community Manager’s right hand, handling on-site operations, rent collections, renewals, and resident relations to ensure smooth daily functioning.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with 2+ years in on-site multifamily roles and experience with Fair Housing and Texas landlord-tenant basics.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish required for daily use.
• 2+ years on-site multifamily experience in roles like Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Manager.
• Experience with rent collection and delinquency management.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and Texas landlord-tenant basics; Section 8 familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage rent collections and delinquency tracking.
• Oversee lease renewals and encourage resident retention.
• Support day-to-day operations: leasing, resident relations, and coordinating maintenance.
• Maintain accurate lease administration and records.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and Section 8 guidelines.
• Conduct tours and upsell, with professional conflict resolution as needed.
