Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Property Management Experience: 2-4 years in residential units.
• REAL Inspections (R/S, R/C, ECB, DOB and DHC).
• English and Spanish (Preferred).
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• RAM, COS, LITHC or CMM Certification required or obtained within 12 months of hire.
• YARDI Property Management Software, intermediate preferred.
• Standard Microsoft Office & Internet.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Manage all residential operations, Sec 8, LIHTC for BHMC Properties including la Plaza de Virginia.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure policy compliance.
• Screen occupancy applicants per state and federal guidelines.
• Organize and prepare properties for Inspections and audits (DOB, DHCR, NEF).
• Oversee building violations and ensure property remains compliant.
• Develop and maintain tenant relations and service quality.
• Monitor budget processes with finance team for operating and capital expenditures.
• Respond to tenant issues promptly by phone, in person, or email.
