Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Texas-New Caney to support the Branch Manager in driving branch performance, customer relationship growth, and operational excellence. You will lead with an ownership mindset, coaching frontline staff and ensuring Woodforest’s Experience across all touchpoints.

This hands-on leader will engage with customers, partner with local businesses, and ensure compliance with policies while promoting retail banking products.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capability; prior supervisory or coaching experience preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Branch Manager to operate the branch with a business-owner mindset, supporting retail growth, deposit performance, and customer acquisition.
• Deliver the Woodforest Experience by maintaining a strong personal presence, warm service, and solution-focused conversations.
• Coach and support team members to uncover customer needs and confidently promote banking products and services.
• Ensure customers receive consistent, high-quality service across teller, platform, and digital interactions.
• Support scheduling, workflow management, and coverage planning to enable efficient operations.
