Job summary

Woodforest National Bank seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in driving branch performance, growing customer relationships, and delivering the Woodforest Experience. You will lead frontline coaching, execute local marketing efforts, and ensure compliant, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• An Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capability; prior supervisory or coaching experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a marketing-oriented sales mindset.
• Comfort working in a performance-driven retail banking environment.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager to drive branch sales, deposits, and customer growth.
• Coach and develop frontline team members for excellent customer service.
• Ensure policy compliance, audits, and cash controls are maintained.
• Deliver the Woodforest Experience through warm, professional customer interactions.
• Engage with the community and local businesses to drive branch traffic.
