Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a full-time Branch Banker in Texas to deliver the Woodforest Experience by building retail customer relationships and proactively marketing banking solutions.

You will work in a fast-paced branch, handle teller duties, open accounts, balance cash, and support community engagement while upholding our Core Values of Ownership, Service, Community and Integrity in every customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales or customer service experience.
• In-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Able to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend banking solutions.
• Achieve sales goals through referrals and marketing outreach.
• Explain products and digital solutions clearly to customers.
• Deliver warm, personalized customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Build relationships with customers and actively participate in community initiatives.
• Uphold confidentiality and comply with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Handle teller tasks and branch duties as needed, and balance cash where required.
• Support nearby branches within approximately 45 miles when business needs require.
