Job summary

HealthPoint Family Care is seeking a full-time, bilingual scheduling staff member to assist patients with check-in and appointments. The role requires outstanding customer service, strong multi-tasking abilities, and a commitment to accessible health care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bi-lingual Spanish required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and register them accurately.
• Advise patients on payment options and insurance eligibility.
• Collect co-payments via cash, check, or card with receipts.
• Submit pre-certifications and insurance paperwork to Billing in a timely manner.
• Maintain patient flow based on appointments and medical need.
• Manage scheduling to optimize provider productivity.
• Monitor reminders and make patient calls as needed.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments; take messages and route to departments.
• Check voicemail and respond within one hour.
• Prepare daily deposits and balance cash.
• Handle paperwork for patient appointments.
