Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor who is fluent in English and Spanish to lead a team in a 5-day in-office setting. The role oversees multi-location AP operations, reviews high-volume invoice processing, and manages ACH and online payments.

The ideal candidate will have AP supervisory experience, a keen eye for detail, and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy and compliance across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Experience supervising Accounts Payable staff.
• Experience in a manual invoice processing environment.
• Experience processing ACH payments and online banking transactions.
• Experience supporting multiple locations and/or multiple entities.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 3 to 4 AP Specialists.
• Oversee AP operations for multiple locations and entities, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing.
• Review and approve high-volume invoice processing, managing approximately 700+ invoices per week in a manual environment.
• Manage ACH and online banking payment activities across the AP team.
• Ensure all vendor payments are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor AP workflows, identify process improvements, and maintain internal controls.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support payment operations.
• Maintain accurate AP records and ensure compliance with policies.
• Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and reporting.
