Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an AP Supervisor to lead our accounts payable team onsite in Houston. You will manage AP+ platform and outsourced resources, ensuring accuracy and compliance while partnering with Finance and Operations to optimize vendor and expense processes.

Strong leadership and attention to detail are essential. The role requires 9+ years in accounts payable with 3+ years overseeing outsourcing, plus solid ERP knowledge and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum +9 years of progressive accounts payable experience.
• 3+ years managing AP processes and outsourced resources.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, ERP systems, and financial controls.
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounts payable function and manage outsourced processing resources.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all AP activities.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, reconciliations, and escalation of issues.
• Monitor vendor aging and ensure payments align with terms.
• Own month-end AP close, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Develop and implement improved AP processes and internal controls.
• Present AP metrics and insights to management.
