Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume accounts payable operations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
• Comfortable taking ownership of processes and driving improvements.
• Proficiency with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Accounts Payable workflow and invoice processing.
• Distribute workloads and monitor processing volume, accuracy, and deadlines.
• Process and review approximately 800 invoices per week.
• Manage new vendor setup and vendor information updates.
• Set up and verify ACH payments for employees and vendors.
• Prepare and process check runs and ACH files.
• Assist with bank releases and payment processing.
• Research positive pay items, uncashed checks, ACH returns, and discrepancies.
• Handle voids and garnishment-related transactions.
• Support 1099 preparation, review, corrections, and filing.
• Assist with lease setup, reviews, updates, and ASC 842 compliance.
• Process electronic invoice batches and supporting docs.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve AP issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and department efficiency.
• Support the AP Manager and broader accounting team as needed.
